Abstract Background Mental health and resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic is a challenge for all indivduals. While evidence emerging that COVID has affected mental of everybody, at this point, no comparable data about extent impact on citizens in Europe are available. We aim to fill gap knowledge. Methods conducted longitudinal study eight European countries including 18+ year old individuals using mixed methods sampling (e.g. convenience sampling, panel sampling). Main outcomes were depression, anxiety, post-traumatic symptoms resilience. Depression was assessed with PHQ-9, anxiety GAD-7, substance use Audit, BRS CD-RISK, stress Impact Event Scale (IES-R). as potentially influencing factors socio-demographic (location, age, gender, education, profession, living situation), specific factors, furthermore we investigated social support, capital, loneliness, domestic violence alcohol consumption (AUDIT). analyze every measurement starting from baseline data, cross-sectional longitudinally. For analyses, multiple linear regression simple logistic multinomial analyses examine trajectories. Furthermore, simultaneously control many variables confound relationship between resilience, propensity score matching applied. Results In total 30.
